FNFD Inc. Indigenous fashion pop-up

Indigenous Fashion Elverina Johnson Fisherwoman Dreaming for FNFD

Are you an Indigenous creative or designer? Would you like the chance to showcase and sell your work at a high-end fashion pop-up?

FNFD are thrilled to announce that we’ve been invited to showcase and sell some of the best contemporary Indigenous fashion + design at a high-end fashion pop-up store at Cairns Central during NAIDOC Week 2020.

We’re calling it FNFD Inc. and applications are now open to all Indigenous creatives and designers who’d like the opportunity to be involved.

Successful applicants will have their pieces for sale alongside the works of established Indigenous fashion labels, including Grace Lillian Lee and Aarli Fashion.

Selected designers will also be able to take advantage of several editorial and promotional opportunities that will further showcase them and their work.

Plus, we’re planning a schedule of workshops, styling sessions and events designed to introduce contemporary Indigenous fashion to new audiences and dedicated fashion fans.

So what are we looking for?

We’re looking for innovative and contemporary Indigenous fashions from around Australia; beautiful high-quality designs, jewelry and accessories that meaningfully share Indigenous stories and celebrate the diversity, the artistry and the talent of First Nations artists, creatives and designers, while appealing to a wide variety of fashion enthusiasts.

So, if you’re serious about sharing your culture, heritage and stories through fashion + design, in a way that’s meaningful, authentic and profitable, and you believe in everything we stand for at FNFD, then this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss!

For more information, email hello@firstnationsfashiondesign.com and we’ll email you the Application Guide.

Please note: Applications close at 5pm on Friday, 13 March.
